Kirk is fighting to lower living costs for Kansas families by cutting taxes on everyday essentials, reducing utility and healthcare expenses, and delivering direct property tax relief for homeowners and renters.

Every eligible Kansan deserves a voice — and Kirk has spent his time in Topeka making sure that voice isn't silenced. As Ranking Member of the House Elections Committee, he has been on the front lines opposing every bill designed to make it harder for Kansans to cast their ballot, register to vote, or have their vote counted.

Strong schools don't happen by accident — they happen when legislators show up, fight for funding, and refuse to let public education become a political punching bag. Kirk has done exactly that. From fully funding K-12 classrooms and fighting for teacher due process rights, to supporting the behavioral health resources that students increasingly need just to get through the school day, Kirk believes that investing in Kansas kids is the single best investment the state can make.

Too many Kansans are one diagnosis away from financial disaster. Kirk believes access to quality, affordable healthcare is not a privilege reserved for those with the right job or the right zip code — it is something every Kansas family deserves. From expanding Medicaid to reforming the prior authorization process that delays care for patients who need it now, Kirk has been a consistent voice for putting patients ahead of insurance company profits.
